The Chook “chicken in Australia”Sparkling Shiraz!

This exciting red is the result of a collaboration of Ben Riggs wine maker at Penny’s Hill winery and Tony Parkinson owner of Penny’s Hill vineyard in Australia. The grape varietals are all sourced from Mclaren Vale, which is regarded as one of the best regions for producing spicy and elegant Shiraz. The key element in this wine for me is the sparkling part which really enhances the flavors of foods with spicy curry, blacken pepper, grilled on the BBQ, anything from quality cuts of beef, lamb or pork. The wine blends perfectly and gives balance to the entrée; also creates conversation socially. Cheers! Topper
