Kellerbier 16oz can
“An outstanding example (of Keller Bier) is made by St. GeorgenBräuof Buttenheim.” Michael Jackson **** World Classic

Nothing has changed since 1624. Around 1624 brewmasters boiled the original wort with an especially large amount of hops over an open fire. After cooling down, the wort flowed into the wooden fermentation vessels where bottom-fermenting yeast was added. After primary fermentation, Keller Bier was then taken to cellars carved deeply into the Bavarian rocks outside the village of Buttenheim using their natural coldness to mature Keller Bier. It then lagered in solid oak barrels “ungespundet” (unbunged) to let the carbon dioxide that develops during this maturation process escape.

The Brewing process, the lagering cellars carved into the rocks near the village of Buttenheim and the beer garden on top of the lagering cellars are still the same as they were in 1624.
Narwhal Imperial Stout is inspired by the mysterious creature that thrives in the deepest fathoms of the frigid Arctic Ocean. Rich with notes of espresso, baker’s cocoa, roasted grain and a light hint of smoke, Narwhal brims with malt complexity. Aggressive but refined with a velvety smooth body and decadent finish, Narwhal will age in the bottle for years to come.

NEW BEER PRODUCT AT THE CELLAR DOOR!

New Hokkaido
Nimble tree spirits? A phantom with icy breath that freezes victims solid? The elusive mountain echo that takes the form of a monkey-dog? We’ve got stories to tell. The New Hokkaido beer collaboration brings together the traditions of Japanese brewing with a unique craft approach from the Pacific Northwest. Each legend comes to life with an inventive micro-prose that guides each tale. Our design solution was born from discovery: the family crest on the kimono of our clients’ grandmother, the pristine beauty of Hokkaido, Japan’s northern-most island, and the culture and art of the native Ainu people. We chose an Illustration studio in Tokyo, whose work is a synthesis of ancient woodblock prints and a bold, modern, Japanese aesthetic. The typographic design works within “screens” that float above the 360-degree illustration–printed on a metalized polypropylene label stock with ink knock-outs to simulate the silver can.
